Re-Tolex Inspiration Needed... Pics Please

Hello friends,

My RM100 combo's Tolex is a little rough around the edges. I'm thinking it's time to attempt my first re-Tolex job... but the thought of another black amp kinda bores me, so I'm looking to see what kinds of custom jobs are on this forum. Please post some pics for inspiration, and maybe if you've got any helpful tips, that would be appreciated too. Thanks...

No, my friend did it (including retolex)
Thanks to this forum for idea, and Replifex as well
Tony rewired parallel loop to volume boost, and some other changes in power amp etc.

btw it is absolutely cool ALL-IN-ONE solution
- I have modulation unit in effect loop
- with channel switching
- and switchable volume boost too
- powered from ex-spring reverb!
- everything together in one case with no other switchers, cables, trafos etc
- with tiny little custom midi footswitch (powered from rocktron via midi cable)

**** thats cool, rack FX in the head. Smooth. I dont mind lugging around a small pedal board.
Heres my tolex job I did to my rm100M:

Word of advise:
-Adhesive remover is a miracle. Make sure and wear gloves!
-Take you time and measure EVERYTHING. Use the old tolex as a template for the new material you choose to use.

I love these kind of Mods....
I have some carpet covered monitors that are sooooo friggin ugly. I have never found anyone who could recover them!
And once I get my rm22 I hope to make it a combo amp with an Fx unit in it, as well.....

But if I had it my way: It would be an rm22 with a G Major2 in the combo with a Celestion V30 and cab that allowed it to be tilted back..and yeah it would have Midi.
