Anthony, that Slipknot clip was amazing, I never thought that module would pull that off, simply amazed mate!

That's pretty freakin heavy! That thing's got a WIDE range of tones!

VERY cool!

Maybe one detail?s note for notorious gain lovers ;)
This is still NOT full gain! It?s about 3/4.....

hyenik, I notice you've got an Angel on the way, which I'm eagerly awaiting, but what are the Boner, and the other mods you've got coming based on?

Angel is still on the way (it means on tony?s table :)) We made some tunings and upgrades according first testing samples.
Boner is Salvation Xtacy, only design will be different.
Gtrio is already mentioned future idea for Groove Tubes Trio preamp.

I never thought much of the Stonoverb until i heard this clip...this is now near the top of my list of mods i want to get. It sounds like it can get both ends of the spectum as well as everything in between. Great work Anthony; i have yet to hear a mod i don't like, and doubt i ever will. Once i get the money (possibly in the next several months) you can expect a PM/email from me.

Can't wait to hear the Angel module.

Hyenik from that forum-my friend from my country-is very picky customer.
He always wants something special.
He is owner of my lower gain Mandarin AD module.
When he offered Stonerverb, he wanted somewhat different look.
So, here it is:

Anthony, so the "Orangutan" is just a faceplate alternative to the existing Stonerverb mod or are there other differences? I'm sending you an email about your workload, I will be in NL next month.

Can anyone tell me how does the Stoner AD compares with the Stonverb? Do they sound entirely different?

I called Stoner AD "hot crunch", it is not really higain.
At the end of clip is maximum gain http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8161768
Stonerverb has more gain stages, so it can go to higher gain territories.

imho depend on purpose... if you want to play hard rock, stoner with strong character and vintage flavour - go to Stoner AD.
If you wants to play metal too and need higher gain - go to Stonerverb

second channels are different too, stonerverb is classic, and my stoner AD has "natural channel" from Rocker 30 (only volume pot is in function, it is nice, but not for everybody)

Yes, this is no joke. I usually spend significant time with my Stonerverb, but last night I delved into the clean tones- it really connected with me last night. Of course the classic rock, odern pop rock, Sabbath and Slipknot tones are where I usually hang, but that clean stands on its own...awesome work Salvation.

I'm just getting ready to send off my rarely used SL+ to Antonin to have it metamorphosed into a Stoneverb. This will be my first commissioned Salvation mod, and from the sounds of it, I am making a good choice :)

Yes! The Stonerverb is not only great/verstaile, but it is different. Many times when you compare hi gain stock modules, you feel like the differences are minimal; this even happens with some of the modded mods- not a HUGE difference between many of the Marshally mods for example. But the Orange has its own character that is so interesting, and Salvation really nailed it.

Curious, which Orange are you getting? I see there is a new one with a 6 position switch and a mid boost, I wonder if(besides those extra features) that module is like mine? I have the Orange face stonerverb from the Queen Stone Age clips.

I too have a module headed his way, but can't decide which way to go...

I am getting the Stoneverb. I had asked about the Mandarine graphic, but Antonin said the "mandarine graphic is more fat crunch/fat clean module, not really higain. Real Orange higain is Stonerverb module(based on Orange rockerverb), sounds great, fat , creaming. It is able to do crunch too, in lower gain mode.". So that made me think the Stoneverb would be a better choice for me. The clips of the Stoneverb are *amazing*

Which module are you talking about that has the 6 position switch?

Mandarin Graphic

I guess that may not be the hi gain version? Looks cool though
