I heard the same from US MusicCorp as they ONLY had the Malcom and Scott Ian MTS on display. Question is: 'WILL my RM22 be able to play Egnater modules?" And IF I opt for the E2 (been hearing about this for 4-5 years), will my MTS modules play in the E2?
Hopefully it doesn't come to this and you can find your tone. But if you happen to decide to go with another option (RM100), please let me know (PM me) on your RM22. thanks!

Thanks crh, that's what I was thinking as well - great for a "grab and go" head (jams and recording and maybe back-up?) - but as a 'main' head, probably not. That said, the recording features and tones from the MTS modules seem pretty f*cking NICE!
SL+/Blackface/Mr. Scary are what I've picked up for my Lynch box. Very convincing modded-Marshall tones. I'm curious about the tones you're able to eek out of the RM22 - how's it sound at a club/gigging level?
Newbie here! I'm very much a 100W player, with a stable that includes a '71 1959SL, Soldano SLO, Silver Jub 2555, etc.
I am extremely interested in the POWER that the RM22 delivers. It's preamp tones are renowned. But does it have the balls and chunk at a decent volume? I know it's 18W El84...
Absolutely!! 8) 8) 8)
Favorite albums: Disillusion 1984, Thunder in the East 1985, Soldier of Fortune 1989, Loudness 1991
The SL+ does a reallyl convincing Lee Jackson/Metalltronix impression.
I was just reading the post on MTS/Egnater exodus. For the record I am REALLY late to the game. I have friends who used to pony up to Doug Reynolds EVERY year at NAMM inquiring about new "modules".
WTF?! I would think.
Well a couple weeks ago, I suffered the realization that I don't want to...
