I am considering selling my RM100 head in favor of a VHT 2/90/2 power amp (possibly others) and my rm4. Opinions? I think eventually i would expand to two rm4s, so seems like maybe a headless rack system might be the way to go. Any one with experience with the vht 2/90/2?

Lets say hypothetically i wanted to run 2 rm'4s and perhaps another preamp...like an engl e530 through the same power amp. What would i use to controll all the channels of the three preamp devices through one midi floor panel and avoid doing a tap dance? Just thinking..

So I turn on my amp just now and....very very quiet. If i dime out the main i can hear it close to where i normaly do (at around 9 o clock on the main and 1 on the modules). cables seem fine, no tube failure lights on. Any ideas?

So i built myself a 2x12 cabinet a while back. It works out pretty well. Its open back loaded with 8 ohm vintage30's. I am thinking about building a new 4 speaker cabinet to place under my 212. I feel it would be nice to round out my sound a bit more so im looking to try different speaker...

I have a grail coming so i feel my treadplate probably wont be used. Its great and so far as i can tell it has an orange cap at c3 but i cant tell the value. In any case, I'm considering trading this for a top boost so let me kno.

Im finding myself with moor modules than slots, can i put an rm4 through the effects loop and get a switcher to switch between the head preamps and the rack preamps? have a midi controller for each and switch in the loop the switch the signal to the Rm4?

So...my midi isnt geting supplied any power. Zero connection from either th midi through or midi in. I havent (to my knowledge or intentionally) pulled the plug while the amp was on. I just moved the amp from la to sd tho. Could it be a midi fuse? Last time i blew a midi fuse the entire head...

My treadplate's gain is at about 3 o clock, but my xl goes all the way up. I love it, but i want to give it a little kick for solos. I Got an MXR micro amp that i run up front because it kicks my blackface's gain up to a beautiful tone, but with the gain dimed on the XL punching the micro amp...

I keep gettin a led indicating a tube failure. I check the fuse, its busted. Three times now. Im using 315ma 250v 20mm fuses, the same as all the other tube fuses but only this one blows. When i replace it, it plays fine for a while until it blows again. Would this be biasing problem by anychance?
